My Mental Health Journey: In the Aftermath of Rape

Every night, I sleep in the same room where I was raped earlier this year. I look at the same wall I stared at as he groped me. I look up at the same ceiling that hung over us as he assaulted me.
Every night, I close my eyes and try not to think about the rape.
Every night, I fail.
